I am enjoying every moment of it. It is a challenging job as I am involved with all the departments of my films right from scripting to music to post production to marketing.
Why don’t you act in films produced by you?
That's a determined decision. I can't do two things together. Moreover I don’t want stars to get an impression that I will keep a meatier role for myself in the films I produce. Except for 'Mission Istanbul' where I did a cameo, I am not acting in any of the fifteen films I am producing.
Can you brief us about your company Popcorn Motion Pictures and the kind of films you are producing?
We are already in fifth year with as many films. Our aim is to entertain masses, make films with some message in it. Our last film 'Mission Istanbul' was on terrorism and mindset of a terrorist. Our next EMI is based on financial institutes, their loan offers and their recovery. After that we have 'Mumbai Chakachak' a hilarious take on the cleanliness drive in the city, and then we have a film on train blasts that took place in Mumbai and many more such exciting subjects.
But we recently had a film on Mumbai local train blasts...
Our film has altogether different approach; it’s only that the basic plot is the same.
