Aamir Ali
Post his dramatic success at Nach Baliye, one of the most widely viewed shows on the small screen, Aamir Ali, already well known in the small screen for his performances in serials like Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki has now become an instant household name and feminine heartthrob. His defeat of sure-fire winners Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi earned him not only Rs.2 million and a car, but also a lot of recognition. Speaking to TWF correspondent Moheet Ahmed, Aamir sounded effusive and energetic, the after effects of his victory clearly showing through. He spoke quite candidly, and as a pleasant surprise, didn't mince words about what he had to say

Nach Baliye carries it with a huge amount of fame and fortune. How does it feel to finally win the contest?

Winning Nach Baliye? It feels simply amazing man, it feels like I won the World Cup! All that hard work and all that practice that I put into my dance sequences finally paid off, and has it paid off big time! It feels simply great to win something as prestigious as Nach Baliye.

Rakhi Sawant has not been too happy with the results, and she has gone to the media claiming that the show was rigged and that she was used as a publicity tool. She also claims the judges did not want her to win, and that she is going to use her RTI to find out the number of SMSs that she had actually received. Comment.

Rakhi Sawant? That woman has been dubbed as the Controversy Queen for all the right reasons. The less that is said about her the better. That woman will sink to any depths to ensure that she stays in the limelight and in the public eye. She is so hungry for publicity that she will do anything. In fact, the press should stop giving her attention, that way it will be a huge favor to our society, I think we see too much of her as it is.
