Shekhar Suman has come a long way. We've seen him as an actor, host, judge, anchor of music and humorous programmes, bitter political drama, cricket series proceedings and radio. Now he is trying his hand at singing. In this venture, he has just completed a music album for T Series - 'Kuch Khwaab Aise'. Here, he talks to Bollyvista about his album and future plans.
What's the cause of calling the album 'Kuch Khwaab Aise'?
Music mirrors the taste of your life. I like people who take different paths and succeed. For the past five years, I was pursuing this thought of doing a music album.
Given a choice, would you opt for the small or big screen?
If asked to choose among movies and TV, I'd go for movies any day. They give you more satisfaction. I have had my share of humor.
What is your reason behind singing?
See, if you look at my past, I have done different things at different times, an artist, judge and so forth. These days you can ill afford a single vocation. I think music has soul. You can feel upon hearing it. With this in mind I went for singing.
