What's your role in 'Good Boy, Bad Boy' and what is interesting about the film?
I am playing the "bad boy" but without grey shades in this film. My character is not focused, not clear about life and hates studying. One day he meets Tusshar Kapoor's character and we both become good friends. The film shows how the friendship creates magic and how both characters passes on qualities to each other. The music is impressive. Ashwini is an actor's director and is completely clear about the film's look.
What is your definition of acting and how do you select your films?
I always feel cinema is not about shouting and 'dialoguebaazi'. Acting is about emoting yourself and give the audience what they want. They like watching me as flirtatious characters, so I don't want to disappoint them by playing uncomfortable roles. I see the character, script and treatment given to the plot before signing a film. I select roles, which appeal to a wide audience.
How was your experience working in 'Good Boy, Bad Boy'?
Mukta Arts is a good banner to work under and very professional. It was a pleasure working with Ashwini and Subhashji. Tusshar, Esha and Tanushree. It was fun to work with all of them, as they are all quite dedicated.
What are your upcoming projects?
I am doing 2 - 3 Bhatt Camp films, 'The Train' and 'Avarapan'. Sajid Nadiadwala's next untitled film is also upcoming. |
