After 'Pyar To Hona Hi Tha', 'Ishq', 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge', Tumko Na Bhool Payenge' and Taarzan - The Wonder Car', Baba Films has come out with it's new venture, 'Life Mein Kabhie Kabhie'. Here, Ajhai Acharya (Co-producer), Vikram Bhatt and the film's stars speak to Bollyvista.
Ajhai Acharya
'Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee' is a smaller film, compared to your past films?
It may be small from the market valuation standpoint, but we have put in the efforts, which are required. Its narration is very appealing and has today's feel.
Vikram Bhatt's films haven't done well of late?
See, no one guarantees success at the box office. Even bigger stars and directors fail at there. Vikram is a proven director and we liked the script. Hence, we went for it.
Baba Films had signed a couple of big directors. What happened to those projects?
We have signed certain directors. However, as long as we are not satisfied with scripts, we won't go on the floor. However, within the next two months, we will take two big films onto the floor.
What are your future plans?
Baba Films is producing big films down south on a regular basis, and we plan to release at least three Hindi films here by next March. Besides that, we are planning huge animation film. |
