ISHA SHARVANI'S latest film is 'Rocky - The Rebel'. Vickey Lalwani caught up with her for a chat on the film and few other topics:
You are shooting despite ill health.
Yes, I am not keeping well. I have been advised bed rest by my doctor on grounds of severe viral fever and a sinus attack. But I have no choice. I have to complete the shoot or else my producers will suffer a great loss.
But you are rarely in the news these days.
I know being Subhash Ghai's heroine, people expect that I'll be seen in parties and giving interviews left, right and centre. But I don't believe in that style of functioning. Basically, I am a very shy and reserved person. I believe in working quietly. I hate building up controversies.
Are you satisfied with your career, at this point of time?
Growth never stops. The day it does, you are dead. I feel in life, the moment you find a place, you tend to stop and your growth stops too. I am here to continuously learn and grow.
Rumours are rife that you and Zaheer Khan have split.
Rubbish. People should stop talking about my personal life. I know the truth and I am not going to react. To me, personal happiness is paramount. And yes, I am happy at the moment. We are together.
