Director SATISH KAUSHIK is a tad disappointed that 'Shaadi Se Pehle' did not do too well, but he is keeping his chin up.
Excerpts from an interview by Vickey Lalwani:
'Shaadi Se Pehle' has not done well?
Well, such things do happen. I am not going to sit and cry over it. I think we made a good film. I stand by it. If it didn't run, I can't help it. Today, the audience is very unpredictable.
Even the film prior to 'SSP'- 'Vaada'- flopped?
Some critics praised 'Vaada', but yes, it didn't do well at the box-office. Perhaps I am not a thriller-kind of person. A thriller can't have a single mistake, one minor flaw and the entire film goes for a toss, rather, irreparable damage. Also I have realized that thrillers have a very select audience.
