The first half of the film was a cake walk for her but for the second half was a real challenge for her as she had to understand the whole integrity of the film. Urmila is very choosey in selecting the movies and so she is referred as Lady Aamir Khan in Bollywood, but incredible content of the film made Urmilla select the movie 'Banaras - A mystic Love story'. Commenting on this statement Lady Aamir Khan of the bollywood said "I am honored to be referred as Lady Aamir Khan as I believe that quality rather than the quantity, matters for a film carrier."

L.C. Singh the producer of the movie wanted to communicate the young generation about the cultural heritage which is being discarded by them. He also wanted to educate the people about the rich Cultural heritage that we possess. The idea of the movie existed in Singh's mind for a long time but the constraints of time and commitment to It business held him back.
