A dream project is coming up for you?
Yeah. Anil Sharma wants to direct my dad (Dharmendra), bhaiya (Sunny) and myself together. The subject is very emotional; it dwells upon a father's dream about his kids. It's tentatively titled 'Apne'.
What's your character in Suneel Darshan's 'Dosti'?
I play a rich guy living in a business family but there is no attachment amongst the members. They all are lost in their own world. The only anchor is his friend Akshay Kumar, who helps him to stabilize his life.
Do you take advise from your dad?
Yes, I do. He has always given valuable inputs. Frankly, I am quite nervous at the thought that I will face the camera with him in the same frame.
How would you describe yourself as a father?
(Laughs) At the risk of sounding boastful, I would say that I am a great father. And hey! Did you know that my eldest son loves to see my songs only and considers me to be the best actor in the business? (Smiles) |
