Lara Dutta has had an uneventful year so far, but the young lass is extremely excited about 'Kaal', which has just released. She spoke to Vickey Lalwani about her role in the film, her experience of working for Dharma Productions and much more.
Excerpts from an interview:
Describe your role in 'Kaal'.
In 'Kaal' I play Ishika, a young girl who is extremely superstitious. As the story unfolds, she finds out things about her boyfriend, which were hitherto unknown to her. She is also the first one to realize that things happening around her are not natural. She discovers a side of herself, which she never knew exists. It was interesting to be a part of such a film.
How was it working with Karan Johar and Dharma Productions?
It was fantastic! Each and every single thing was taken care of and it seemed as if we were shooting at home. There was never an uncomfortable situation despite of shooting in difficult circumstances. Although Karan was never on the set, Soham Shah was always in control and he shot the film exactly the way it was narrated. |
