How did you bag this role in Jalwa - Fun In Love?
Rajiv Ruia, when he saw 'Oops!', he liked my character a lot, and although Oops! was not commercially successful, but it is said a good actor gets anyhow noticed. At that time he had decided that when he will make 'Jalwa - Fun In Love' he will cast me in that, and for me it was a big thing for an upcoming actor and there is a established director who has thought about the film keeping me in mind. He met me on the sets of 'STOP!' And told me that I have a script which is made keeping you in mind, which is a commercially bold film. I felt this film concentrates more on me and I will also get a commercial hero image and I said yes to him.
Can you elucidate your role in Jalwa - Fun In Love?
I am playing the role of a rich businessman, who has a very bad past. He has his father's established business going to the office. He flirts with his secretary, after a matter of time he is a married man, and he confronts this girl but does not recognize her as he had been flirting around. How the girl takes revenge on him is all about the film.
How do you feel working with Rajiv Ruia?
Well, Dipak Tijori is my first priority but Rajiv Ruia is fanatastic. We had been to Bangkok for a twenty days shooting schedule and I was just in awe to see him work, the way he works he knows how to get his work done. I have full faith in him; I can trust that my career is safe in his hands. |
