Ajay Devgan in 'Zameer'

Talking about stuck-in-the-can movies, the ones that take the cake are last Friday's releases, namely 'Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav' and God-Knows-When-Would-It-Release 'Zameer'. PLPY could well take the honors for being the "most severely criticized movie of 2005" that would have won the awards hands down if there were any in this category! At least this is one movie where all the critics have been consistent in their comments and ratings. Billed as 'An insult to cinema', PLPY has seen the harshest word-of-mouth coming its way!

Other stuck movie is the Ajay Devgan starrer 'Zameer' that has Amisha Patel and Mahima Chaudhary for company. No one knows whether it is a love triangle, an action film or an intense drama. Or is it a mix of all three? Promos have been on for more than an year and this seems to be one of those post-Gadar movies of Amisha that is being readied for release now as ‘Vaada’ and ‘Elaan’ (both starring Amisha) have just hit the marquee.
