DIPANNITA SHARMA has resurfaced. Come June she will be seen in Rajiv Rai's 'Asambhav', starring Arjun Rampal and Priyanka Chopra.
Excerpts from an interview by Vickey Lalwani.
After '16 December' you seem to have disappeared?
If I wanted, I could have gone on a signing spree. I got several offers which I refused, because everybody wanted me to play the same role as I did in '16 December'.
Does the fact that Rajiv Rai's last film 'Pyar Ishq Mohabbat' flopped, worry you?
No. 'PIM' was a love story, which is not Rai's forte. Rai has always specialized in thrillers. With 'Asambhav', which is also a thriller, he is poised to make a great comeback.
What is the status of 'Asambhav'?
Its music is as catchy as Rai's earlier films like 'Tridev' for one. Plus the film has shaped out very well in total.
