Udita Goswami is another hot model (Pepsi, Sun.com, Nokia, Star Movies, Platinum, Levis, Wills Sports, Lee Cooper, Rags, Elle Sports, Roopam, Park Hotel, Taj Hotel, Titan Watches, Brylcreem) to debut in films. This time it's Pooja Bhatt's debut directorial venture, 'Paap' in which she has been paired opposite another model, John Abraham.
So another model debuts on the big screen?
(Laughs) I knew that was coming! That's exactly what I don't want people to say after they see me in 'Paap'! I was consciously turning down a few offers before 'Paap' (after I was discovered on MTV) that didn't require me to do much. I'm not against glamour in the least but there has to be more than just that! I'm glad I waited for 'Paap'. When I heard the story and my role in it, I knew it meant acting, acting, acting! It's the most perfect debut I could have asked for!
Why Pooja Bhatt?
I had seen her 'Tamanna' and 'Jism' before and knew that I could have blind faith in her so I surrendered myself completely to her. She's so different in real life and on the sets. In real life, she's this bubbly and jovial person and on the sets she's supremely focused. What helps is that Pooja has been an actress herself so she would enact every scene out for us.
