Everyone's been waiting for Madhuri to return to Bollywood!
(Laughs) Really? It's a nice feeling to know that I'm being missed. No, but honestly, I miss the industry too but really haven't had time to think much about it because I'm so busy with my little one, Arin. He's adorable. I can't even describe how much I'm enjoying motherhood!
How flattering was it to have a film ('Main Madhuri Dixit...') made on you?
(Laughs again) It's a kick no doubt, my mum saw it and told me it was a sweet film. Antara's done well.
There are so many filmmakers from Raj Santoshi to Prakash Jha to Zoya Akhtar who are waiting to sign you up!
Yes, plenty of good offers are coming by, and that's both surprising and exciting. But whatever I do now will have to be well planned because people will be really curious to know and see what I come up with post-marriage. I haven't had detailed meetings face-to-face with any of these filmmakers as yet and nor have I confirmed any project so far. But I will do so in due course of time. Thankfully, I've also lost a lot of weight and it won't be long when I'm back in shape!
What does Arin mean?
It means one who has no enemies. It's also another name for the Sudarshan Chakra. He really keeps me busy! Touchwood, he's growing up into a sweet child, and like I told you earlier, I'm enjoying every bit of this phase.
How's your husband doing?
Ram's doing great, he's so,so busy! He's a good father and a great husband when he pampers me in bed with breakfast at times! |
