We all know our film stars love to be pampered, but sometimes this coddling can prove very expensive for filmmakers. Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar are currently shooting in Phuket, Thailand for Ashtavinayak's next 'Blue' directed by Anthony D'Souza. The two stars are staying at Banyan Tree Hotel in their most expensive suites.
Believe it or not, the cost of each room in INR per day comes to around 80,000 to 85,000, which means nearly 2 lakh rupees per day for the producers. No wonder with corporate funding the economics of filmmaking has gone haywire for sure. |
