'Phoonk' To Go International

'Phoonk' has helped Ram Gopal Varma get his lost reputation back. The surprise packet of this year took off to a flying start all over when it released last week, as its first week registered a handsome business in India. The film however couldn't see an overseas release, as such films are not a draw at cinemas in countries like the US and UK. Instead, they are released later on DVDs.

With its success in the domestic circuit, the makers are now releasing the film overseas but not in Hindi. The film will be dubbed in English and Spanish languages and released to the overseas market later this month. We hope 'Phoonk' breaks some records there too!
