Sreejita De better known as Annu, who is playing the lead in Deeya and Tony Singh's Annu Ki Hogayee Waah Bhai Waah on Star One is not new to facing the camera. The young lass has shared the screen space with superstar Akshay Kumar in soon to be released Tashan. Sreejita who is pursuing mass media started out with popular Balaji shows like Karam Apna Apna and Kasauti Zindagi Ki albeit in not so great a role.

Sreejita De says, "I always wanted to play some substantial role and when I was short listed for DJ's new show Annu I was very elated and felt very encouraged. The concept is very offbeat yet people can relate to the situation through which Annu and her family goes."
