Shakti Samanta made memorable films like Kati Patang |
The grandfather of romantic Hindi films, Shakti Samanta, who has made memorable films like Aradhna, Kati Patang, Kashmir Ki Kali, Amar Prem and many more will launch his grandson Aditya on celluloid. 24-year-old Aditya will be launched by his director-father Ashim in a romantic musical which will kick off this year. A girl will be cast opposite Aditya in the film which will be lavishly mounted with a major part of the film being shot abroad.
Meanwhile, the makers are coming back to business after a decade with with Don Muthuswami which has Mithun Chakraborty in lead role. Their last film released in 1997 was Ankhon Mein Tum Ho and had Sharad Kapoor and Suman Ranganathan in leads. |
