It has been over a year that Vidhu Vinod Chopra had signed ad filmmaker Ram Madvani to direct the film Talisman for him. After that no news about the same was heard.
The latest buzz is that the film has been shelved. The fantasy film with Amitabh Bachchan was launched in early 2007 and a trailer was specially shot to screen it with Eklavya across theatres and it gave impression that the film was Bollywood's answer to Hollywood's Lord Of The Rings. According to sources at Vinod Chopra Productions the film has been delayed but not shelved for sure. Since Madhvani is occupied with his assignments of ad films the delay became unavoidable.
