Remember a long time back we broke the news that producer-director Mehul Kumar was planning to make a sequel to his hit Krantiveer. It is now heard that Mehul may have to scrap his idea as no one is interested to play lead role.

It is learnt that Nana Patekar himself refused the idea as he thought it to be outdated. Next to turn down the film was Kunal Khemu for whom the script was modified. It is also buzzed that Shreyas Talpade too didn't find the idea exciting enough to be lapped up.

Our sources close to Mehul Kumar reveal that with so many rejections the filmmaker may drop the idea to make this film and work on something else.
