In yet another landmark move for collaboration between the education and the industry, Whistling Woods International – Asia's largest Institute for Film, TV and Animation education has entered into a partnership with SoftImage XSI, a subsidiary of Avid Technology to add value to the highest grade of animation education the school already provides.
Under the terms of the agreement, apart from educational co-operation for the SoftImage XSI Software, it would also be the first Institute in the country to have the latest Face Robot version 1.8 that would not only enhance skills of the students of Whistling Woods International but also introduce these skill sets to the Animation industry. Face Robot version 1.8 makes it easier than ever to deliver compelling high quality artistes to facial animation performances in record time.
Subhash Ghai, Chairman of the institute responding on the occasion stated that "This endeavor once again establishes Whistling Woods International's commitment to creating a world class institute providing high value to students, while keeping in mind the need of the industry.
