Subhash Ghai, Amitabh Bachchan and Ken Livingstone at WWI
The Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone applauded Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods for maintaining international standards in the field of film and media during his visit there yesterday. He was accompanied by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who also congratulated Ghai for creating such a world class film and media institute in India with the best of facilities for students to excel in film making and animation.
It was Bachchan's first visit to Whistling Woods International. Later on he also visited the animation department of the institute which played host to the producer's guild of India. This resulted in a signing of a historic treaty with the Mayor of London for globalization in film production as partners at all levels including co-productions.
