Ronnie Screwvala and Mayor of London Sign Agreement

London Mayor and Ronnie Screwvala sign the agreement

London is the next favourite destination to shoot films by filmmakers in Bollywood. It is evident from this year's films like Namastey London, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom and forthcoming Goal.

The mayor of London has set up Film London - a one stop shop for all the shooting needs of Hindi filmmakers. Film London is set up in association with the Film Producers Guild which is headed by Ronnie Screwvala.

Amitabh Bachchan, who has been captured on celluloid in streets of London many times, was present at the signing of a new film agreement between London and India. The agreement signed between the Film and Television Producers Guild of India and Film London will provide a single window system to simplify shooting permits, location scouting and management in the British capital.

Around fifty films and TV serials have already been shot partially or fully in UK this year and this deal will only increase the count in days to come.
