On Saturday, Boney Kapoor lodged a complaint at a Juhu police station against the financers of his film No Entry, Sushil Gupta and his wife Madhu for forging his signature on a blank cheque. Boney Kapoor had given his financiers blank cheques and letterheads of company as security for financing his film.
Gupta issued a cheque for Rs 9.65 crore and a letter of authority by forging Kapoor's signature and tried to deposit the same. When the bank officials called up Boney Kapoor for confirmation of the big amount he ordered a stop-payment and filed a complaint against Gupta for forgery.
