'OSO' and 'Saawariya' to be banned by multiplexes?

The trailers of this year's Diwali attraction 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Saawariya' have been pulled from most of the multiplexes across India. The reason for this being the revenue sharing terms between distributors of these two films and multiplex owners.

The distributors of both these films are asking to share the revenue from ticket sales in the ratio of 60:40 as against normal terms of 48:52. The promos of both the films are discontinued from most of the multiplexes as Eros International and Sony Pictures are pressurizing multiplex owners with their demands.

The final outcome will come on Monday when multiplex owners will meet with distributors to decide the fate of the release of these two films in multiplexes and on what terms.
