Shah Rukh Khan, Pandit Ravi Shankar, A. R. Rahman and Subhash Chandra are nominated, along with the likes of Bill Gates, N. R. Narayana Murthy, Samuel J. Palmisano Chairman & CEO of IBM, Jeffrey R. Immelt Chairman of General Electric, W. James(Jim) McNerney, Jr. Chairman, President & CEO of Boeing, Rupert Murdoch, Sam Pitroda , Dr. Deepak Chopra and Richard Gere.
The award ceremony will take place on the 13th of September at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, USA. |
