The success of the SRK starrer 'Chak De India' has brought the game of hockey into the limelight for sure. Two exhibition matches of hockey are being planned by Indian Hockey federation and Suniel Shetty.
The matches are to be played next month in Chandigarh on the 11th of September. One of the matches will be played between India and Pakistan and the other match will be played between film and TV stars and former hockey players. The game between the film stars and hockey veterans will also feature members of the women's team of 'Chak De India'.
Suniel Shetty has been roped in as brand ambassador and his company Popcorn Entertainment will promote the event.
