T-Series and PPC have signed Priyadarshan to direct the sequel to PPC's last year hit film, 'Malamaal Weekly', which will be called 'Malamaal Weekly 2'. It is one of the five films to be made jointly. It will feature the same star cast as the original and is likely to begin by this year's end.
