Moser Baer, the company responsible to bring down the prices of DVD's and VCDs in India by selling them at Rs. 34 and Rs. 28 respectively to combat piracy, is now venturing into branded cycles cart business.

The cycle carts will go around selling their popular labels at the lowest rates. The idea is being tested in Kolkata with seven branded cycle carts. Depending on the response, the number of carts will be increased.

It is being done to increase their DVD/VCD market by approaching customers, rather than wait for them to visit their outlets.
