UTV signs Shahid Kapoor for two

After signing Priyanka Chopra for three films, UTV has now inked two films deal with Shahid Kapoor.

The first of the two will commence in the first quarter of 2008 and will be released by that year's end. The second film will begin in the first quarter of 2009 and will be released at that year's end.

The subjects and directors of both films will be decided on mutually by Shahid and UTV.
