Gandhi My Father

Anil Kapoor's maiden film as producer, 'Gandhi My Father' has invited opposition from Gandhians within just a few days after its promos went on air. The film projects relations between Mahatma Gandhi and his eldest son Harilal.

Gandhians in Bihar have objected to the film's release, as it is based on the controversial and personal aspects of the life of Mahatma Gandhi.

They have requested President APJ Abdul Kalam, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Information and Broadcasting Minister to stop the release of the film.

'Gandhi My Father' is directed by Feroz Abbas Khan and has Akshaye Khanna as Harilal. It will be released worldwide in August.
