Sivaji

The superstar Rajnikanth-starrer 'Sivaji', which has been declared a universal hit has run into a legal battle over its script. Assistant director Sudalai K Jayarajadevan has moved the case into court, claiming he wrote the story and narrated it to the film's director S. Shankar in 2005, but Shankar has made the film without giving him the credit.

The Fifth City Civil Court issued a notice to Sivaji's director Shankar and three others and posted the hearing in a week.

Jayarajadevan has sought an injunction to restrain the screening of the film until there has been a disposal of the suit.
