Madhur Bhandarkar

Madhur Bhandarkar has been invited by Brihan Maharashtra Mandal of North America as the guest of honour for its 13th convention in Washington, held from the 28th of June to the 1st of July. The association wishes to felicitate Madhur for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema in making meaningful films for social awakening.

Around 5,000 Maharashtrians from all over the USA are expected to attend this annual function. The association has previously honoured other Maharashtrians like Asha Bhosle and Madhuri Dixit.
