It is more or less confirmed that PNC has shelved their next film 'Rahgeer' which was to be directed by Rituparno Ghosh with Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in leads. Though the film was announced few months back it didn't progress beyond scripting stages. Not happy with the way of films progress PNC has decided to shelve the film.
Ghosh has earlier directed films like 'Choker Bali', 'Raincoat' and 'Dosar' which was invited for Cannes Film Festival this year.
