For a social cause, Anupam Kher acted for free in a two-minute film produced by Western Railway. The film was produced to create public awareness in combating terrorism, exercising vigilance and informing the police if any unclaimed baggage is found, following the bomb blasts that rocked the city almost a year ago.
The film was directed by Devendra Khandelwal and jointly produced by Western Railways and Video Publicity and Films. The film was released recently at Railways' headquarters. Believe it or not, Anupam Kher traveled on a local train from Andheri to Churchagate for the release of the film.
The film will be telecast in all the cinema halls in Mumbai before the screening of each film.
