In a quick reaction to yesterday's report, which mentions Hrithik Roshan as the highest tax payer from the entertainment industry followed by SRK and others, Big B has clarified that the media overlooked him and he has paid more taxes than Hrithik.
For the last financial year he has paid 15.59 Crores, which is 49 lakh rupees more that Hrithik's 15.1 Crores. He further takes pride in stating that Bachchan family is the highest tax paying family in India if accounted for big B himself with Abhishek and his bahu Aishwarya.
Abhishek Bachchan has paid 4.75 Crores and Aishwarya 5 Crores. So all in all this year the Bachchan family has paid a whopping 25.3 Crores in tax, which certainly does make them the highest tax paying family.
