Nayee Padosan Tu contest |
A brand new face was born in with world of Indian Cinema at the Nayee Padosan Tu contest held yesterday at Hyatt Regency, Andheri.
Ankita Srivastav, was crowned the winner amongst 8 beautiful girls by eminent judges Govinda, Sohail Khan, Amrita Arora, Nitin Manmohan and Director of Nayee Padosan BH Tharun Kumar, who had a touch choice as all the contestants were supremely gifted. The contest saw many touch rounds like Ramp walk, acting sessions and dance numbers, all putting to test our eight talented girls calibre. Ekram Akhtar, the writer of the film announced the winner's name.
Ankita will be the new female lead the sequel to the hit comedy film of 2003, 'Nayee Padosan' winning in a grand contest which contained participants from all over India.
Organised by White Leaf Entertainment which is headed by popular stars Pooja Ghai and Vikaas Kalantri, the contest, aptly titled Nayee Padosan Tu?...was held to search a fresh new female face to star with Vikas Kalantri, Aslam Khan amidst others, who were also part of the first film. Directed by BH Tharun Kumar, ' Nayee Padosan' was a hilarious laughathon about three young men, who are all of marriageable age, gets their hopes up on marriage, when a beautiful young woman comes to live in their neighbourhood.
Celebrity spectators present included Shakti Kapoor, Rakesh Paul with wife Sunaina, Ravee Gupta and Manoj Biddvai along with Arjun Punj.
The contest will be shown exclusive on ETC and Zee Music.
