Ashmit Patel will star in a period film called 'The Flag', directed by Sajiv Balath, who has made several acclaimed documentaries. Ashmit will play a very patriotic man named Deva. He will don dhotis and the traditional Indian wear of that time.
Incidentally, he will be shooting at Bhuj, on exactly the same locations where Aamir Khan shot 'Lagaan'.
