While Raj Kumar Santoshi had already announced Ajay Devgan and Kajol to play Ram and Seeta respectively in his forthcoming mega film 'Ramayan', we now hear that Riteish Deshmukh has joined the cast as Laxman.
However, Santoshi says that he will make an official announcement in mid-January. And we hear, he is yet to finalize an actor for Ravan and Hanuman's role.
We only hope that this is not one of those Santoshi's projects which remains only on paper.
