Scriptwriter, lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar was quite surprised when he learned that he had been denied a visa to visit Pakistan. What is even more surprising is that he was the only one of the 25-member star-studded team who was to attend the premiere of Mughal-E-Azam that was denied access.
We're sure Thursday's saddening news left him stunned and wondering why he had been singled out. We wonder too.
