Music of Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota plays a gigantic role in narrating the engaging story. The songs connect the lives of the four protagonists traveling on the edgy tracks of life and give voice to their emotions. The title track of the album, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota sums up the essence of the film and gives voice to the tangible and the intangible feelings of the protagonists. Rendered soulfully by Kunal Ganjawala and Sunidhi Chauhan, this song is ornate with delicate melody and lilting rhythm.
Ek Baar Jaana America is a catchy song with two variations that chalks out America as the dream destination of people. The song rides high on the sentiments of the protagonists who are on their way to America for their own imperative reasons, different from each other. The catchy and peppy tune not only lingers in the mind of the listeners but also defines the Indian craving for the alien land of America.
The track Dance Music is an aptly titled instrumental featuring veteran musicians Tushar Parte (Acoustic Guitar) and Shyam Raj (Tenor Saxophone). The album also carries five bonus tracks, including Pyar Hai rendered sensuously by Sowmya Rao, Tu sung with vigor by Kunal Ganjawala, Odhni Odhae, a cult Gujarati classic remixed with attitude by DJ Suketu, Man Ke Darpan Mein by Om the fusion band and Yadon Mein rendered by Shreya Ghoshal & Shaan.
