The music launch of the directorial debut film of Naseeruddin Shah - 'Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota - What If?' produced by Shabbir Boxwala under the banner of Cat Films and presented by Anil Samani was held on Saturday 17th June at Planet M with great fanfare. Mrs. Khadija Boxwala (wife of producer Shabbir Boxwala) released the music at the glittering venue along with director Naseeruddin Shah, producer Shabbir Boxwala, music director Viju Shah, lyricist Sameer and the cast Konkana Sen Sharma, Ayesha Takia, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ravi Baswani, Ankur Khanna Karran Khanna and Shahana Goswami.
Yuh Hota Toh Kya Hota- What If ? boasts of scintillating music by Viju Shah, whose catchy music in Tridev is remembered even till today. The veteran and popular lyricist Sameer has written the songs for the film, which has a unique story that sketches the entwining lives of four people with distinct hopes and diverse motives. Starring Paresh Rawal, Irrfan Khan, Jimmy Sheirgill, Karran Khanna, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ayesha Takia, Ratna Pathak Shah, Saroj Khan, Ankur Khanna, Imaad Shah, Ravi Baswani, Tinnu Annand, Sameer Sheikh, Shahana Goswami & Suhasini Mulay, the film sensitively depicts how fate can impact a person's life and affect several generations to come.
