Neena Gupta, the actress who has made a name for herself, one as the mother of cricketer Viv Richards’ daughter and second as the director who has made some of Indian television’s most remembered serials, will now be making a debut as a director on the big screen. The film is called Draupadi and is being produced by Pantaloon, the retail company that had ventured into filmmaking with Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne. Now what’s Draupadi all about?
