Romit Raaj in Hum Dum |
Actor Romit Raaj (debuted in Kushan Nandy's 'Hum Dum'), who plays the role of a drummer and Nana Patekar's son in Gautam Ghosh's Hindi film 'Yatra', has met with an accident.
During the shooting of the film at Ramoji Filmcity, Hyderabad, the young actor was required to run across a road, which hooligans had set on fire. He completed the shot, but toppled over on glass. His clothes caught fire. He lay down and rolled on the floor to put off the fire, when he realized that he was on pieces of glass.
If Romit's reflexes were not good and hadn't laid down to extinguish the fire, it would have been a far more tragic story to tell. Currently, he has more of glass-inflicted cuts than fire-infected burns. |
