Govind Menon laments that his last flick 'Kis Kiski Kismat' was not marketed by Vivek Nayak (producer). But this time, he has been let down by his main star, as Rekha was supposed to be a major part of the publicity campaign for 'Bachke Rehna Re Baba'.
The producer Boney Kapoor had asked Mallika and Rekha to make a joint appearance on a promotional tour, which involved road shows in Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow and Pune but Rekha backed out. She sent feelers that she would comply, but Mallika Sherawat should not be a part of the campaign. It would be recalled that rumours were flying thick and fast during the making that Rekha and Mallika never got along with each other. |
