Director Imtiaz Ali ('Socha Na Tha' starring Abhay Deol, Ayesha Takia, Rati Agnihotri) who was on cloud nine after his directorial skills were applauded is finding it tougher than he imagined. Soon after the film's release, Subhash Ghai had signed him for one of his forthcoming productions. The latest is that Ghai has now shown him the door.
Obviously, Ghai was not happy with Ali's script. Owing to creative differences, the project has been shelved. Ali will now direct Sahara's new production titled 'Highway'. Starring Sunny Deol, 'Highway' deals with a man and a woman who get together on a journey; the couple is actually on the run. The heroine has yet not been finalized. Exotic locations are being finalized. This is some compensation! |
