Rakesh Roshan has failed to identify his shooters alleged linked to have underworld connections.
Roshan Sr. has told the court that he was unable to do so, because the incident happened about five years ago.
On January 21, 2000, Roshan Sr. was shot at point-blank range when he was leaving his office. He was rushed to Nanavati hospital, where he was operated upon and a bullet was removed from his chest.
The trial was held on-camera. Police have arrested five accused owing allegiance to Abu Salem’s gang.
