The library of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Science wants to acquire a copy Gowariker's 'Swades' script.
Earlier, another Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' had been selected for the same honour. 'Swades' dubbed a flop by trade experts has earned more than 17 crores just from India and is bound to get a global boost through this honour .
Says an elated Gowariker, " It feels great. I haven't had an easy time with my film. I feel very happy to hear that the Academy wants my script strictly for research purposes. Maybe I made a deserving film after all."
