While the military clearance may be one of the reasons for the postponement of 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo' (something we had hinted at on Wednesday itself), the real reason is that distributors in several circuits have to be finalized and the makers are especially worried about the unsold status in Delhi-U.P. (till last Tuesday-Wednesday), as this is where the biggest business of the movie will come from (along with East Punjab and CPCI). Anil Sharma has been in Delhi for days now.
The new release date may well be the 17th of December, along with 'Swades', as the makers do not want to release it with another action flick, 'Musafir' on December 10th but the final decision is still awaited. |
